Handmade 1920's Pleated-Front Knicker Short Trouser
This special hand dyed darkest black version of the super limited edition NVP08 trouser design is one of only 3 pieces of its kind made by hand in the entire world exclusively for Cruvoir in Los Angeles.
It was created from Geoffrey B. Small's modified short length 1920’s short knickerbocker double-pleated front trouser pattern from Geoffrey's tailoring research, and cut in a very special greggio tailor’s organic linen and cotton double-faced weave fabric (which was not treated or finished with any chemicals) woven exclusively for Geoffrey by Luigi Parisotto in Sarcedo, Italy, then specially hand dyed in their studios using a special process that requires at least 8 hours for each piece to achieve its special patina and effects.
The piece features the most advanced new artisan made horn button designs created exclusively for Geoffrey by the legendary Fontana family of buttonmakers in Parma, Italy, and hand stitched buttonholes (each one requires 8-10 minutes to cut and sew) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads. Variations in color and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special fabric, and hand making technique.
